improve your skills

Most of us are hardworking. We try to work as much as possible. We try to do everything by ourselves. We think that if we work more, we can earn more or get more recognition. The matter is that, we start taking more tasks to engage ourselves. We get busy with more tasks.

The fact is that if you are willing to do more, you get more tasks to do. The more you engage yourself in doing the tasks, less you are left with time to fulfill your dreams. The simple tasks, the time consuming tasks and the unimportant tasks are engaging with your valuable time and energy.

If you stick to traditional, non-skill required tasks, you will end up lose your job. Another person or eventually robot may fill your position. If you don’t make your existence by skills, you will end up in those tasks only.

So, what can you do?

Always learn and improve your skills. Say ‘no’ to works that don’t value your time or effort. Make time for learning new things. Try to find simpler and faster ways to do the same task that you are doing traditionally. Work on your skills.
