good sleep- good life

One Marathi phrase tells us, “Lavkar nije, lavkar uthe, tyasi aayu- aarogya labhe”. It means, the one who will sleep early and wake up early would get a good health and longer life.

Within these simplest words, the secret to health is given by our ancestors. Could we follow it? This is tuff to answer. In today’s lifestyle filled with fast changing technology and moving surroundings, the health remains aside. Everyone is running for something. The hurry of achievements and success in materialistic world, the long living of life is having less meaning. We are inclined towards ‘live today, who have seen tomorrow?’

I don’t say that’s completely wrong. Of course we should live in present moment, seizing the day!! But, on account of what? For example, If we eat junk food today in consideration of ‘who have seen tomorrow?’ can’t it damage our body the next day? Yes, it will! Balancing with what is present and what is going to be its future is mandatory.

One more example- if we spend whole salary within a day, how would be our remaining month be like? Planning is important. So, if you are planning for your health and for living a longer, happier life, make changes in your lifestyle. Whatever you think, think wisely. Enjoy today, but plan tomorrow.

I say, wake up early. But if you don’t sleep early, how would you make it? If you want your body, work well, rest is the booster. Take a good sleep. Many of us have forgotten a sound sleep due to their gadgets, workloads and duties. You need to apply some discipline over yourself. I am giving the small changes to incorporate in routine.
